Contact and inquiry drafts

The inquiry window stores your draft—including name, email, and message—in this browser’s local storage so you can return to it. “Clear draft” removes it and its local retry record; it does not delete an inquiry already received by the server. “Send inquiry” submits your name, email, interest and message to a private Cloudflare D1 database, along with a random receipt ID, the page path and recognized nonpersonal campaign labels. Receipt is shown only after storage is confirmed. Resend sends a notification to Nick using our existing Alderlight mail service; queued notifications may be retried. “Use email instead” opens your email application for you to review and send and does not confirm receipt. A daily rotating hash of the request IP is retained for up to two days for rate limiting; raw IP addresses are not stored in inquiry records. Information you send us is used to respond, discuss projects, and manage our working relationship.

Service Desk demo

The Service Desk example uses fictional data stored only in this browser. Its CSV preview, import, edits, reports and exports run locally; files and demo records are not uploaded. Do not use real customer data. Reset replaces only this demo’s records. Clear browser storage to remove them.

Website analytics

Google Analytics loads only if you accept it in the initial Accept / Decline dialog or through “Analytics preferences” in the footer. It measures page visits, project interest, demo links, and contact actions. It may use cookies and process browser, device, and network information. We do not include your inquiry name, email, or message in analytics events. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our configuration. You can change your choice at any time using the footer link. Declining stops analytics and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site; it does not delete previously collected data. You can also use your browser’s privacy controls or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported.

Hosting and external services

Cloudflare delivers this website and may process technical request information, including IP addresses, for delivery and security. Following links to demos, social networks, or your email provider takes you to those services. Their privacy policies apply.

Storage and your choices

Your inquiry draft and analytics preference remain in browser storage until cleared. Analytics is off until you allow it; closing the preferences panel does not change your choice. Google Analytics may store its own cookies; you can remove these through your browser settings. Hosted inquiries and email correspondence may be retained as needed for the inquiry, client relationship, or applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you have sent; some records may need to be retained for legal or business obligations.
